Priority Group captures top MEREDA award

TOPSHAM Commercial real estate development firm Priority Real Estate Group of Topsham was recently awarded the Maine Real Estate Development Association 2016 Notable Project Award at the 2017 Annual Spring Conference in May. The project, located on Brunswick Landing, is the new Wayfair E-commerce center with 42,000 square feet of outbound business-to-business sales and service offices with additional office space for support staff, supplier operations, human resource and information technology. The building accommodates 550 employees and includes an additional 8,000 square feet. Maine competed with North Carolina and Texas for the project, and along with the efforts of Maine’s Department of Economic & Community Development, Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority, as well as the office of the governor, the project became a reality for Priority Real Estate Group. Jim Howard, CEO/president of Priority Real Estate Group, said, “We are deeply honored to be nominated and selected as the notable project of the year. The dedication of the people in Maine, my staff and Wayfair all share this recognition.” Bar Harbor Bank & Trust nominated Priority Group for the award. Priority Real Estate Group has developed numerous businesses that now call Brunswick Landing their home including Pathways, Midcoast Veterans Council, Sunray Animal Clinic, Wayfair, North East Mobile Health Services, Priority Group Maintenance Shop and Skordo.
