Wayfair officially opened its sales and operation facility at 46 Burbank Avenue in June of 2016. The company, which is based in Boston and sells home furnishings online, announced earlier that year that it would open facilities in Brunswick and Bangor, with a combined total of nearly 1,000 jobs.
Priority Real Estate Group purchased and renovated the former Navy Exchange Retail Building, completing Phase 1 of the turn-key facility in 16 weeks. In March of 2018, Priority Real Estate Group began construction of the 2nd Phase expansion of Wayfair into an additional 8,480 square feet of previously unused space. Work was completed in June, 2018.
